Historically we have been a business heavily dependent on a paper based workflow, with engineers manually completing paper dockets to capture works on our client sites. This created a number of challenges for us; delays in return of job sheets, issues around legibility of dockets and the inability to capture a real-time view of those jobs in progress or completed.
From an initial, conceptual idea, we worked with Ian in developing a mobile software application enabling us to resolve these challenges. The project has been hassle free - Ian has both listened and understood from the beginning, our desire to implement a straight-forward solution which didn't disrupt the way our team worked but enhanced the workflow by enabling us to track the work more easily and to ultimately move towards the completion and invoicing of jobs more quickly.
